Description / Background

The monument is a black granite tablet. At the top is a gold coat of arms and below that are the insignias for the three services. The words 'Lest we forget' are on the front face of the tablet in black text on a gold band. The monument sits on a grey plinth, surrounded by a low concrete wall. Individual plaques are attached to the wall. Behind the monument is a flag pole.

Notes on veterans' names:

Douglas Craig, R. K. Clancy and Arthur W. Badger took part in the Second World War. This is indicated by the information in their records on the Australian War Memorial website and the World War 2 Nominal Roll, although it does not appear to be recorded on the memorial.
