A First World War grey granite pillar with a statue of a soldier atop, facing west. The dedication and honour roll are inscribed on the sides of the monument. 

A memorial wall is located behind this memorial, with multiple plaques and dedications to veterans of the Second World War and later conflicts.

was unveiled by Major General Sir Charles Rosenthal, K.C.B. 

C.M.G., D.S.O., M.L.A. on Aug. 2nd 1922.

This foundation stone was laid by

and RG Keily, Mayor
