This is a small, light-coloured, polished wooden board with veterans' names printed in gilt, behind a glass pane. The memorial is located near platform 23 in Central Station's, Railway Remembrance Wall.

Additional information by Sydney Trains:

A polished carved wooden Roll of Honour board, with 62 Locoworks Boilershop railways employees names who served in the First World War written in gilt in three columns, behind a glass pane. It was produced by Boilershop staff, and after its closure in 1925, it was eventually fixed to the western Railway Remembrance Wall at Central Station. Note, all the names are also listed on the Eveleigh Locoworks consolidated Honour Roll WWI.
