Description / Background

The Carlingford Great War Honour Roll is located inside Carlingford Library. It is a timber board, which includes the names of the men from the Carlingford region who fought and died in the First World War.

The roll is thought to have been relocated from the Carlingford Memorial Hall, which was built as a result of a fundraising movement within the community and opened in 1924. The hall was demolished in 1987. A version of this roll is installed on the former site. It is listed separately on the NSW War Memorials Register as the Carlingford Great War Memorial.
