A shipwright, enlisted September 1915. In France from February 1916. Went AWOL more than once. In September 1916 invalided out after accidentally shot in the foot. Military determined there was insufficient evidence that the wound was self-inflicted. Medically discharged in January 1918. Last known address: 35 Duke Street
