Boolaroo Great War Roll of Honour Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background A group of four photographic honour rolls, attached to a single timber board. Each roll has an individual gold frame and the board has a decorative timber frame. Positioned in the top centre of the board is the dedication panel, decorated with the crossed Union Jack and Australian flag. The memorial is located on the first floor of the Speers Point RSL Club. On the wall above it are the words 'Lest we forget'. To the left of the words is a photo of the Queen Elizabeth II. Inscription Roll Boolaroo Roll of Honour. Unveiled Dec. 1916 by W.J. Oswald President. Men of Boolaroo & district who enlisted to fight for the Empire, in the Great War. Related links BOOLAROO.
