Delungra Public School First World War Roll of Honor Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Inverell Times, 13 December 1918 reported the Delungra Public School Roll of Honor was being displayed in Mr G. Thorley's premises in Evans Street, Inverell. Mr Thorley, a cabinet maker, had made the roll. It was a block of sold white marble, with deep black lettering. It was surrounded by cedar with an arch like headpiece with the words 'Delungra Public School Roll of Honor' in gold. In the centre were the crossed bars of Britain and Australia with their respective flags. A week later it was announced the roll would be placed in the school in a few days with the unveiling taking place after the school holidays, c. February 1919.
