Condobolin Masonic Lodge First and Second World Wars Memorial Fireplace Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background White marble fireplace, with dedications and an honour roll of those Brethren who served in the First and Second World Wars inscribed in gilt. On 23 July 1915, it was resolved an honour roll be placed in the Lodge with the names of all Brethren who had volunteered for service at the front. The roll was unveiled on 24 September 1915. There appears to be no record as to where this roll was placed in the Lodge. On 12 May 1922, the fireplace was unveiled. Again, there appears to be no record of who designed and constructed the memorial. It is a simple, but arresting design. On 12 September 1958, it was resolved the names of those Brethren who were members of the Lodge and served in the Second World War would be added to the roll.
