Murringo Memorial Hall and First World War Gates Middle Image Image Image Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background A typical memorial hall with First World War honour rolls attached to the front entrance facade. The foundation stone was laid on 25 April 1928, and the hall was opened later that year on 17 October. The rolls were unveiled during the opening ceremony. A set of memorial gates with dedication plaque is located outside the hall. Inscription Hall foundation stone This Foundation Stone was laid by Mrs Margaret Johnson on Wednesday 25th April 1928 in grateful recognition of all who answered their country's call 1914-1918.
