Newcastle East Public School First World War Roll of Honour Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background This wooden Honour Board sits on the mantle of a disused open fire place in the school library. The board has two doors which open to reveal the names written in gold. At the top are the Australian flag and Union Jack with the words 'Roll of Honour' painted over the top of them. The dates of the war are incomplete, reading '1914 - 191'.
