The memorial is part of the Railway Remembrance Wall located near platform 23. Additional information by Sydney Trains: A polished carved wooden Honour Roll board, with the words 'For as much as they did for us, let us do likewise for one another' below. It contains 10 Locoworks Millwright railways employees names who served in the First World War written in gilt, encased behind a glass pane. It was produced by Millwrights staff, and was relocated after its closure in 1989, and fixed to the western Railway Remembrance Wall at Central Station. Note: all the names are also listed on the Eveleigh Locoworks Consolidated Honour Roll WWI.
