Description / Background

A large dark wooden board with veterans’ names hand printed in gilt. Atop the board is a semi-circular pediment where photographs of 16 of the veterans are displayed. Above the names are small illustrations of the Australian flag and the Union Jack, and the New South Wales State Crest at the centre of the scroll bearing the words 'Roll of Honor'. The board is located within the old Church, built 1899. The church is located on the main street of Rydal, opposite the former railway station.
