Description / Background

A grey granite obelisk standing approximately four meters tall. Veterans' names and inscriptions are engraved and gilded. The names of veterans from the Second World War and a plaque for Korea have subsequently been added to the memorial.

Inscription

This memorial was erected by the people of Wilcannia and district in honour of the men who fought and fell in the Great War 1914-1918.
