Bendemeer Public School Great War Roll of Honour Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The roll is constructed of dark timber. It is simply designed, and decorated with carved columns on both sides and a carved crown at the top. The names of those who served in the First World War are painted on the middle section of the board in gold. The memorial was designed and donated by R.D. Dixon from Bendemeer. It was made from timber from the old Bendemeer Bridge, which was demolished in 1904-1905. The roll was once located in the Bendemeer Public School but is now located in the Bendemeer Town Hall.
