The memorial commemorates those from Cullenbone, a small rural district outside Gulgong, who served in the Second World War. The honour roll is made of polished timber and features a curved pediment with two panels containing the names of 24 service personnel written in gold across the board. 

The memorial is now located in the military room of the Gulgong Pioneers Museum. It is available for viewing when the museum is open to the public.
