The tablets are inscribed with an honour roll for the First World War. Positioned in the garden around the memorial and several bushrocks, with bronze plaques attached that commemorate conflicts and peacekeeping missions in which Australia has been involved. Planted nearby is a Lone Pine. The town's Anzac Day march leaves from the Euston Club Report on Nixon Street and proceeds to the memorial. Inscription Obelisk - tablet 1 Erected as a tribute to the honor of those who enlisted from this district or were born here and enlisted elsewhere. And in memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War 1949-1919.
