This Memorial was funded by the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Commemorative Program “Saluting Their Service”.

The Vacy Community desired a structure that did not detract from the other Memorials in the surrounding Districts, and allowed them the opportunity to monumentalise the Men and Women of the Allyn and Paterson River Valleys who served our Country in all Theatres of Operation, Be it War, Peace, Other Conflicts or Peacekeeping.

This plaque was Officially Unveiled by Bob Baldwin. MP. Member for Paterson. On the 08th April 2005
