Wambanumba First World War Honor Roll, Young Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The honor roll is made of pressed embossed bronze and lists 25 local residents from Wambanumba who signed up for the First World War. Four of the veterans died in active service, while nine are unable to be identified on the Australian Imperial Force database or on the National Archives of Australia. The memorial is located in the Lambing Flat Museum, Young NSW, along with many other old memorial boards from the area. Wambanumba is approximately nine miles (15km) east along the Murringo Road from Young.
