Wetherill Park War Memorial Plaques Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background There is a group of bushrock memorials located within Wetherill Park Reserve. Two bushrocks have plaques attached. One plaque includes an honour roll of those who served in the First World War. The second plaque is inscribed with a message about the Centenary of the Armistice. The third is missing its plaque. Inscription Plaque 1 This memorial contains the names of soldiers listed on the Honour Roll from the Wetherill Park Public School and the tablet that was set on a plaque in Wetherill Park and who served in World War I. These names reflect the great contribution and sacrifice of the families of Wetherill Park. Unveiled by D.W. Newall, President of Smithfield RSL Sub Branch on August 15, 2004.
