Arthur was wounded 19/03/1918 and was admitted to Woolwich Hospital, England on 29/03/1918.

He was returned to Australia on the HMAT Orsova on 03/03/1919 and discharged on 10/04/1918 due to being medically unfit.

Brother of Private Charles Edward Beileiter (59th Battalion), service number 2874. Cousin of the brothers Private John Beileiter, Corporal Arthur Samuel Beileiter and Private Charles Lyons Beileiter.

In total, five members of the Beileiter family served in the First World War.
