John Bundy was born on 13 January 1919, at Whitechapel London, England, to parents Walter Frederick Bundy and Louisa Shaw. Before the Second World War, John was a Fruit Packer. During the war, John served as a Rifleman in the Rifle Brigade, Central Mediterranean Forces.
After the war, John married Doris Joan Titshall in 1946, in London, England. John and his wife then emigrated to Australia. John passed away on 6 May 1982, at the age of 63. Doris died in March 2011.
