Description / Background

Deniliquin Memorial Park is a community sporting facility, which includes playing ovals and courts, clubrooms, offices, pavilions, animal pens, and playgroup headquarters. Originally named Jubilee Park, it was established and renamed in the late 1940s as a memorial to those who served in the Second World War.

The entrance to park has a archway commemorating the war and the Centenary of Federation in 2001. The archway is fabricated from lightweight steel components and it is flanked by two low brick pillars. It was installed in 2001.
