The Cooks Hill Lifesaving and Surf Club Great War Memorial is a tapered granite obelisk, standing on a stepped concrete base. Attached to the front of the base is a sculpture of a lifesaving ring. The monument stands on a three-level platform, which is edged by smaller obelisks, acting as pillars to support metal posts.
