2.Goulburn Evening Penny Post 29 December 1939: Records Public send-off for a nunber of soldiers from the Bungendore Federal Hall including: Lloyd Daniel,Bob Andrews and Victor Payne ( probably Paine)."Although Bob Andrews has only resided here for a short time only,he claims Bungendore as his home town.He is a brother of Mrs Lee McIntyre of Werriwa." Note: Lloyd Daniel and Bob Andrewes both Enlisted in Canberra on 24 October 1939 and have the official Nos : NX 4598 and 4596 respectively.

Locality on Enlistment: Braddonn ACT.Place of Enlistment: Canberra ACT.NOK: Andrews C. ( Ancestry.com has Father as Charles Allen Andrews who died June 1936 ?)Date of Discharge :22.08.1945.Rank; Corporal. Posting on Discharge: AAAS HQ 4 AUST ARMD BDE.
6. Ryerson Index records the Death of a Robert James Andrews at the RGH Concord ( "late of Marrickville") on 14.07.1965. Ancestry.com indicates that he married Mary Emery at Marrickville in 1943 and that she died in Marrickville in 1964.
7. NAA file not Open so Service documents cannot be viewed to confirm Military Service details.Notwithstanding it is considered in light of all the forgoing evidence that the R. Andrews on the Bungendore Memorial WW2 ROH is indeed Roberte James Andrews.
