Reached Suez on 6 August, underwent training with the 2nd Light Horse Training Regiment at Moascar..With his brother, Maurice, joined the 2nd Australian Machine Gun Squadron on 6 December 1917.Passed away at age 71 on 5 November 1964.Buried Bungendore beside his father James and wife Rebecca.
