- Application to use Rising Sun Badge:On 03 November 2015 the Bungendore War Memorial Committee applied to Army Branding to use the Rising Sun badge on a proposed street sign for "Hatch" in the town of Bungendore as part of the Centenary of ANZAC Commemorations. This request was approved on 21 DEcember 2015.
- Queanbeyan -Palerang Regional Council advised in the Bungendore Weekly 26 May 2016 of its intention to name the ,"Laneway running between Gibralter Street and the Kings Highway eat of Duralla Street ",as Hatch Lane to commemorated S. Hatch who was killed in the Great War.
