NAA File:Documents on file extremelyy difficult to read. he was at Gallipoli on 13.07.1915 and then embarked for Egypt where he disembarked at Alexandria on 31.12.1915.In Sinai-Palestine he suffered a GSW to the shoulder on 5.8.1916 whislt serving with the 2 LH and transterred to the ANZAC Provost Corps 5.12.1916. Courtmartialled 10 April 1917.This particular File not Open but Service Record indicates he was charged with allowing a 7LH prisoner to escape from custody. He was found Not Guilty.
