1.Listed Bygone Queanbeyan and Bungendore War Memorial Hall ROH. Collinson " Final List".
2.DVA WW2 Nominal Roll does not list any "R" McQuirk but does list a "Henry Robert". Two entries here :RAAF 437978 and Army N180612 that would appear to be the same individual as DOB and NOK are identical for both and Enlistmnet in RAAF occurs day after Discharge from Army.No NAA files have been opened to allow search for Bungendore connection.
3.Mundia nor Monaro Pioneers provided no further data.
4.Stevenson records the birth of Reginald Francis McGuirk 21.12.1929 and death in a MVA on 5.1.1953.Son of Kate White.Headstone Bungendore Cemetery.(Too young to have served in WW2 !) Article in Queanbeyan Age quoted by Stephenson dated 13.02.1953 refers to McQuirk not McGuirk who was a pillion passenger on a motor bike being driven by Harold J White who was the Uncle of the deceased.
5. Search of DVA WW2 Nominal Roll and AIF Project for WW1 does not reveal any likely Bungendore local candidate named McGuirk who may have been the fateher of the foregoing deceased Reginald.
6. Last reviewed 25.05.16 with outcome of "McQuirk" on the Bungendoer ROH still remaining " unknown".
