5. Stephenson: John A. Died 22 June 1940 aged 50 years. Husband of Ethel (dec).Father of Mervyn and May. Father's name Johnn Henry. Mother Emma Mary(nee Winter).Buried Bungendore Cemetery. Date of death on NAA file stated as being 22 August 1940.

6. NAA File: Wounded in action, 4 May 1918 (shrapnel wound, arm and face.  Wounded in action (second occasion), 27 June 1918 (gun shot wound, face and right arm).  RTA 20.02.1919.Discharged 12.03.1920.

7.  NSW BD&M Record 33212/1 indicates that John A Pratt, presumed to be the brother of George Henry Pratt (AIF Private # 19689) was registered as being born in the District of Bungendore. The BD&M Record 2194/1985 also indicates that John H M Pratt and Emma Pratt were the parents of Edith E Pratt who was registered as being born in the District of Bungendore. In this instance it is presumed that the "Mapping ANZACS" NOK for John Amos was John Henry Malcolm Pratt.
