The rock stands on a cement base, which has a single plaque attached. The memorial is accompanied by three flagpoles and several smaller stones with plaques dedicated to individuals. The site is marked out with white chains and is located outside the Lightning Ridge Visitors Centre. Inscription Base plaque In memory of those who fell in defence of our country. Lest we forget.
