Description / Background

The Woodstock Soldiers Memorial Hall is a large brick building, with the main hall containing a stage, meeting/supper room and kitchen. The hall was designed by Mr Jack Francis, of Cowra, who also supervised the construction. The contractor was Mr. Reynolds.

The hall was opened on 7 May 1925 by Mr Hugh Main as Mr N. Howse, who had laid the foundation stone in 1924, was unable to attend.
