Description / Background

Built by the soldier settlers in 1926 after the First World War, this hall is approximately 20kms from the Urangeline Peace Hall. For the centenary of Anzac in 2015, it was repaired and dedicated as a memorial. In 2016, the timber honour roll located within the hall was unveiled.

More information on soldiers from the area can be found in local historian Christopher Madden's book, Land Fit for Heroes – the story of the Urangeline Soldier Settlements from 1920.
