Hillgrove Methodist Church First World War Honour Roll Middle Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background This honour roll is dedicated to the memory of Private Clarence Hay, Jos Martin, Cliff Summeron and Will Taylor. It is located in the Hillgrove Uniting Church, formerly Hillgrove Presbyterian. The timber roll is decorated with paintings of two sets of crossed flags, one photograph of a soldier and gilt script. It was presented by the mother, family and grandparents in memory of Private Hay and his three comrades. Each of the four soldiers list were Methodist, and the honour roll would have been once located in the Wesleyan Methodist Church at Hillgrove. Inscription IN LOVING MEMORY OF PRIVATE CLARENCE HAY.
