The North West Champion on 19 March 1951 reported two bishops would visit Moree in June for the dedication of the All Saints' Church of England and the Warriors' Chapel: the Bishop of Armidale, Dr J S Moyes, and the Bishop of Grafton, the Right Reverend Storrs. The North West Champion on 3 May 1951 reported the Vicar of Moree, the Reverend E. T. Ormerod was appointed Canon at the meeting of Synod at Armidale that week. Since his arrival in Moree, he had "devoted himself to the rebuilding of All Saints' and the building of a Warriors' Chapel". Three months later, the North West Champion on 13 August 1951 reported workmen were completing the "All Saints' Church of England in readiness for the Dedication service on Tuesday, August 21." Internal work in the chapel was in its final stage; the altar, prayer desk, lectern, altar rails and pews had been donated as memorials to the fallen. The Bishop of Armidale, the Right Reverend Dr J. S. Moyes dedicated the Warriors' Chapel on Tuesday 21 August 1951. The All Saints' Church was dedicated by the Archbishop of York early in November 1951. A memorial stone inset into the external wall of the Warriors' Chapel was laid by Chaplain E. T. Ormerod, Vicar on 3 September 1950. Inscription Memorial stone: A. M. D. C.
