St Xavier's War Memorial School, Gunnedah Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background St Xavier's War Memorial School was established as a memorial to those who have served in times of war. The foundation stone was laid on 13 March 1955. The school is a large, two storey building, featuring a Latin Cross on the facade facing Henry Street. This section was once the entrance, but it is now closed. It has been decorated with an indigenous artwork. Access to the school is by appointment/tour.
