The glass is surrounded by a simply designed timber frame, with a 'stepped' top and sides, typical of the Art Deco period. The memorial was initially unveiled in the Glen Morrison-St Leonards community, and then later moved to the Walcha Ex-Services Club. Access to the memorial is restricted to the opening hours of the club. Glen Morrison and St Leonards were small rural communities located in the Walcha District.
