Annangrove Park Vietnam War Memorial Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Annangrove Park Vietnam War Memorial is a rock sawn sandstone block. Attached to its front face is a brushed stainless steel plaque, inscribed with the dedication to the men and women of Australia who served in the Vietnam War. The memorial stands approximately 1.6 metres high and 500mm thick. It is slightly tapered, measuring 1.2 metres wide at the base and 900mm wide at the top. The plaque itself was unveiled on 31 October 2016 by Ray Williams MP and Julian Leeser MP, in front of a group of Vietnam veterans. The memorial was later designed by The Hills Shire Council and installed in 2018. The memorial is located in the bushland setting of Annagrove Park. It is positioned next to the park's rotunda and bordered by a native garden. Also on site is the Annangrove Park War Memorial.
