Coolamon Circuit Methodist Great War Honor Roll Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Coolamon Circuit Honor Roll is a polished timber oak board with a gable at the top and a supporting shelf at the bottom. The honour roll lists the names of twenty-seven members and adherents of the various churches in the circuit who enlisted in the First World War. The board features the commemoration in distinctive gold lettering within the gable. The honour roll was unveiled in the Coolamon Methodist Church on 30 September 1917. A service was conducted by the Reverend W Theobald, who then called upon Mrs Theobald to unveil the memorial. The Coolamon-Ganmain Farmer's Review, 12 October 1917, reported the occasion in detail and also recorded the inscription which included no end date, since the war was still in progress.
