Biographical details

George Blavins embarked on the 'Orvieto' in London on 20 December 1912, bound for Australia. He disembarked at Sydney, NSW, on 30 January 1913. During 1914–15, he participated in the local cricket competition in the Grafton, NSW, region.

He married Lucy Annie Amelia Cotten at the Holy Trinity Church, Woolwich, London, on 14 May 1919. They are shown in the image below, posing for photographs in the garden after the wedding. 

George died in Dartford, Kent, England, on 15 March 1972.
