Arthur Edward Huntington served the full length of the First World War. The details of this service are listed in the tables above. While in the 1st Field Ambulance, he was promoted to Lance Corporal on 2 October 1915 and Corporal on 26 March 1917. At his request, he was reverted to Private on 22 June 1917 and joined the Machine Gun School, where he stayed briefly before returning to the 1st Field Ambulance. Earlier that year, he also married Alice May Tyler on 25 January, in their home town of Loughborough, England.

In the inter-war period, Arthur was a market gardener/farmer in Blackheath, NSW, and was president of the Blackheath-Mt Victoria RSL sub-Branch.
In their later years, Arthur and Ernest became rangers at Jenolan Caves.
Arthur died 3 March 1963, and rests at Woronora Cemetery, NSW, alongside Alice and Ernest. The family continues to flourish throughout Australia.
