A small wooden bridge with steps leads to the memorial from the side of the road. It is located 5kms North of Cootamundra, on the left hand side of the road. Inscription In memory of FLT SGT Henkins, J.E. and SGT Sutherst, V. Killed in RAAF Beaufighter at this site while training for operation in the Pacific War Zone on 21-9-1942. This stone was laid by members of 31 Beaufighter Assoc., Cootamundra RSL and the people of Shire of Cootamundra.
