Armidale Methodist Church First World War Honour Roll

The timber Honour Roll is made of Japanese Oak. At the top is an enlarged carving of the A.I.F. Badge. The sides are traditionally designed, and other aspects of design include Australian flora: one waratah under each end of the top moulding; one flannel flower at each top corner of the frame and a sprig of wattle at the bottom of the board. All of the lettering on the framework as well as on the board is carved. The names of those who fell are inscribed inside a border. Those who served are listed on the remaining part of the board. The designing and wood carving is the work of W. Frederick Brown and the joinery is from the T. F. Mills' factory.

The Roll was unveiled by Lieutenant Colonel H. F. White at a church service held on Sunday 3 April 1921. The church was known as the Armidale Methodist Church at the time.
