Bulga Soldiers Memorial Hall and Honour Rolls Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Hall was built on donated land by the local community in 1919/1920 in honour of those who served in the First World War. It was opened on 21 January 1920 and has been managed by a committee of local residents ever since. The first Trustees of this group were the names on the Title Deeds. These gentlemen have all since died. The last one living arranged for the Hall to be “purchased” by the Bulga Soldiers' Memorial Hall Assoc. Inc. Since completion, the Hall has been the centre of life in Bulga. It has been the local church, a dance hall, a concert hall, an extra classroom for the local school, a school of various dancing styles, a playgroup, a sports centre and an art gallery. It also houses several honour rolls.
