Description / Background

The sandstone monument is set on a white gravel bed within a small corner garden. Attached to the top are four bronze honour roll plaques with names listed in gold. On the front and side are the service emblems for the Navy, Army and Air Force and the words 'Lest We Forget.' Also on the side are two additional plaques, one for the National Servicemen's Association and the other listing donors.

Behind the memorial are an eternal flame, a large wooden cross and a flagpole. Two smaller plaques set on individual sandstone plinths are located at ground level in front of the memorial.

Both Anzac and Remembrance day ceremonies are conducted here.
