LATE LIUT WINKWORTH
Mrs Winkworth of 29 Johnston Street Annandale has received a cablegram from the Keeper of the Privy Parse in respect to the death of her eldest son, Lieutenant CHC Winkworth, who was killed in action, expressing the deep sympathy of King and Queen. -The Sydney Morning Herald Wednesday 11 October 1916 page 10
RETURNING FROM WAR: Liut HC Winkworth is returning to Sydney by the Ypiranga after three and a half years service. He is a son of Alderman C Winkworth of Annandale and gained his commission the the field.
