Colo Vale Public School Great War Honour Roll Middle Image Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Great War honour roll is mounted high on the wall opposite the front entrance of Colo Vale’s Public School office. The stained wooden board with its gold lettering stands 1.2m tall by 0.7m wide. Notes on veterans' names: Four of the veterans listed on the memorial board paid the supreme sacrifice and did not return home from the First World War. Six of the 38 names listed can not be identified on the National Archives Australian website or in the Australian Imperial Forces project database from the University of NSW, Canberra. They are: J A Chalker, H P J A Cooke, W Dramley, R Junes, S Pavletich and G E Reid.
