3. AWM Embarkation Roll: Rank: Private ;Unit:18th Battalion, 4th Reinforcement; Age: 29 9/12 ; Occupation: Shearer;DOE: 9.03.1915; Embarked:30.09.1915.Sydney.HMAT Argyllshire.A8.

4. AWM Nominal Roll: Rank:Corporal;Unit: 2 Machine Gun Battalion;     DOE:9.03.1915; RTA:13.04.1919. Discharged 5.07.1919.

5.Queanbeyan Age 12.06.1917 Bungendore reported that :"Sergt W. Reid has been wounded.Sergt Reid is a brother of Messrs.P.and A. Reid who reside here."

6. NAA File: Wounded in Action at Bullecourt 4.05.1917.Court Martialled 1.11.1918 and reverted from Sergeant to Corporal.
