Description / Background

The memorial comprises three large granite stones, which have been mounted on concrete, with the insignias of the Royal Australian Air Force, Australian Military Forces, and Royal Australian Navy attached. In front of these, is a polished black stone monument engraved with a map of North and South Korea. An honour roll plaque is set into the ground in front of this monument. 

The memorial is situated in Glen Innes Anzac Park, facing West Avenue.

This memorial was officially unveiled by Mr Earl Mar Wetherspoon (ex 3 RAR)

Mr Michael Kohlhoff President of the Korean Veterans Association

and a non-denominational dedication service was conducted by

Captain Tom Steward and Captain Stuart Jackson, Salvation Army

Father Carey, Catholic Church

Pastor Keith Jackson, Seventh Day Adventist Church on the 30th July 2008.
