Uralla Memorial Institute Middle Image Image 0 / 0 - Prev Next Description / Background The Memorial Institute is a symmetrically designed, two-storey brick building. It features simple timber supports and lattice work on the verandahs on the ground and first floors, and a central hallway inside. There is a large sign on the front of the building with the words 'Memorial Institute 1927'. The construction was as a joint initiative of the First World War Memorial Committee and the Uralla Literary Institute. Designed by Inverell architect, J.F.
