The memorial is within the school grounds but is visible from Young Road. Outside the administrative building are two flagpoles mounted on a brick wall and several brass plaques commemorating the opening of the school. Inscription Memorial - front 1914 -18 [Rising Sun Emblem] 1939 – 45 In memory of those who served their country in World Wars. Erected by Moss Vale Sub-Branch R.S.S. & A.I.L.A. 1964 Memorial - rear "They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn, At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We shall remember them" Lest We Forget. School opening plaque The Australian National Flag, Union Jack And Flag Masts were presented to The Moss Vale High School at the official opening 7th August 1964 by Moss Vale Sub- Branch R.S.S. & A.I.L.A.
